New employer has Fragomen as their attorneys, Fragomen had me file AC21 paperwork. No, new employer doesn't have an internal immigration department, just HR.

The unavailability of visa numbers shouldn't stop USCIS from denying 485s, should it? Anybody aware of such cases when they denied 485 (or at least sent a NOID) while visa numbers were not available for the applicant? If yes, then yes, they do process (pre-adjudicate) 485 applications while visa numbers are not available, if no, then no.

All I-94s that are collected by the airline at the Port of Departure are sent to USCIS office in Kentucky, where they are entered into the system.
You can leave the country immediately after applying for AP. The only condition is that you need to be present in the US when you apply. If your AP is denied and when you left the country your status was AOS, then your application is deemed to be abandoned. But if you left on H status, it is valid.
You can stay out of the country until the date on your AP expires. If your AP expires while you are out of the country, and you do not have a visa to re-enter, you have to apply for a fresh status to come back in. But if you had left on AOS, and your AP expires, your application is gain deeme to be abandoned.
Please consult an immigration attorney for detailed instructions.

If you have dual intent non-immigrant visa it a different story.

Thank you for your reply. I talked to my lawyer he is a big lawyer in detroit with the immigration he only told that since my marriage is before my GC approved date and she came on H4 and and have valid I-94 and she won't be illigal status.
Once the dates are current I can apply for her 485. again I will contact them .

5. While you are it, tell us about last night's dream, in Hindi. Translate it into Cantonese and P-Language (remember, that?)
6. Create 10 threads asking whether more rallies are good or bad, supporting your cause to ban disruptive users
7. Invite the intellectual insight of users debating that the First Amendment applies to anyone whose feet have touched US soil, whether H1B or not

Have I140 approved with PD of 12/05.
Got a 3 year extension upto 4/2010.
Am a little tired of my current job and started interviewing before the recent jump in PD, and the CIR mess.
Not sure how exactly to react to these recent events if I get an interesting offer. The biggest thing is I am not sure I would be able to port my PD (based on approved I140) if the CIR gets passed.
Guess I need to wait and watch how CIR and PD motion progresses over the next month or two.

The cynicism and stupidity of some of the people who post their details on the tracker is remarkably astonishing.
For example, people posting country of chargability as the USA.
Poeple posting their 485 approval date at yr 2019. So many of these errors.
Shocking that there are people whose sole purpose is to sabotage the validity of information that helps everyone. This is meant to atleast help people caught up in this mess and to see trends and perhaps make their own judgements and plans on their own cases.
This is clearly a public forum and people can do as they please, however people indulging in this and they know who they are, ought to be ashamed about this reprehensible behavior.

I've learned from other forums that it's not advisable to change address before FP as till then your application is not yet in system. So, if you file your I-485 and call in two week to change the address, there is a chance that your application is not yet in system and will not be updated against your 485 application. And then when your application is actually entered into the system, it will just take the address which is in your 485 form.
It is highly advisable to not to change address before FP, especially if you have not used the lawyer.

They are willing to support me on my GC process.
IS it OK for me to be job less for a while, and look for job on EAD.. I dont want to use AC21 rule...

I want to work on EAD and want to go back on approval..
do i have to be on payroll of my GC sposoring company all the time or it will be OK for me..

check with your consulate or take it from someone who did the same in the respective consulate. sometimes procedure done in sfo will be a bit different than what would be expected in yew-york. iam not sure why though.
