My worry is since new company HR and new attorney have been confused me. I don't have confidence on them. I am worried if this new attorney sent different information in this new AC21 package than the old one. If the description in old AC21 document which has been already sent and the new one being prepared are different then I think I will definitely be BAD shape and if my I485 case is declined I have to leave US because I am working on EAD now. So, this is my biggest worry.

check with your consulate or take it from someone who did the same in the respective consulate. sometimes procedure done in sfo will be a bit different than what would be expected in yew-york. iam not sure why though.

High skilled people are needed to run the economy.
H1B fills that requirement.
Then why should US govt worry about giving more GCs ?
Congress may be convinced to increase GCs for US educated because right now that is what they think it is needed.
But the argument for H1B s to GC ..we may have take different roUTE.
US is a leader of Free world. People who are stuck in this GC process are not free and they are abused. This goes against basic ideal of US constitution.
H1B fills that requirement.

If your L/C is in BEC you can get a copy of the application and change jobs and get an H1b extensions in any company based on the pending L/C in BEC. If you have a 140 approval you can get 3 years extension in any company as well as retain your priority date

Either CNN tactically approves Lou's views or respecting freedom of speech. This compaign of removing him from CNN will be waste of time unlesss Lou violates law. I think some part of Pro immigration lobby frustrated that no movement in CIR and they are showing that to anti immigrants. Instead they should take it to people and Congress. CNN is a Corporation and they will see Company's welfare first then Country. Also if they fire Lou he may join some of rival's company and that will impact them badly. So at this point it is nearly impossible to remove. Basically it is easier to pass CIR than removing Lou from CNN.
For sponsors to pull the plug, viewers [that is WE the people] should stop watching the channel. High viewership numbers attracts sponsors/advertisers. The ad ppl don't care what the content of the program is - all they need to know is that the program is "popular". That forms a nice circle, doesn't it - everything begins with us and ends with us ;)

Today I called USCIS and asked if its ture that I don't have to pay fees for 765 and 131 renewals if I pay the new fees for the 485, she said that its wrong and we have to pay the fees for renewal. Not sure which is correct.

Yes Bugsbunny, I work for a consulting firm.
In recent times this is the cause of frequent H1B denials
as there is a requirement to prove direct "employer-employee" relationship between you and end client...meaning you should be reporting daily to a supervisor at end client...instead of the consulting company.
This is just a rough reason that may not be accurate for your case...so please consult with an immigration attorney.
In the meantime i think you have little choice but to come on F1...or you can wait to see if its possible to resolve the issue with USCIS...and try to get H1 stamp again

While reading the net, I discovered that Democrats have won by fielding a lot of untested conservative candidates. We don't even know their voting histories. Do we really expect these new conservatives to be pro-immigration? Is this Congress of Democratic conservatives in the House likely to be more pro-immigration than the Republican House?
Let's not get our hopes too high and just have them dashed very quickly. Immigration legislation will not occur until early next year, when the new Congress has completely settled in.

There arent that many members in AZ. Atleast not as per registration records.
There are not more than 70-80 members in AZ. Which is not a small number if everyone chooses to meet. But compared to other states, AZ has few members.
California has given a whopping 3500 + members to Immigration Voice. Almost 20% of IV membership.

Thank you for your reply. I talked to my lawyer he is a big lawyer in detroit with the immigration he only told that since my marriage is before my GC approved date and she came on H4 and and have valid I-94 and she won't be illigal status.
Once the dates are current I can apply for her 485. again I will contact them .

I think it is ok if doesn't mention IV's name. What I'm pleased about is that they have correctly reported the problems faced by skilled legal immigrants and have not twisted the facts like CNN does.

What I've come to know is that job openings are low in the November and December months anyways. So... it's fine to take a couple of months off, think what you want to do and come back recharged in January or whenever you feel like it. Good luck.
Depends. What I see now is jobs opening up. The job market is getting a bit better than before. Earlier this year and end of last year - it was hopeless and frozen.
Hitech and IT and engineering will get better and better - the reason I say this is, I have studied the entire cycle.
The way economy grows is by "movement" - there has to be movement - once it starts, it keeps growing.
No matter how many jobs are outsourced or sub contracted - new jobs will be popping up.
But, I think we must all focus on creating jobs - rather than seeking jobs.

I also had a question..July filer... I got my I-140 approved april 2007 EB-2. Two weeks back I get another (july 2009 approved EB-3) ... My processing date goes to un available as per processing dates as of August visa bulletin...I am from India priority date 2002. Any comments Gurus?
